6 Ways to Save Money WITHOUT Coupons!

By Adrienne Marie - July 17, 2016

These are my 6 favorite ways to save money at grocery stores without coupons! Sometimes we just don't have time to go through the Sunday paper or print out a bunch of coupons before we head to the store. Over 2 years, my total savings from all these options is $544.92!
So I hope these 6 easy ways help you save money!

1. Cartwheel
If you haven't heard about Cartwheel before, have you been living under a rock?!

Cartwheel is a savings app you can use at Target to get discounts on things you already buy!
You can scan items in the app (or online if you don't have a smartphone) and it will alert you if a discount is available!

These percentage-off and money-off discounts come off at the register to save you money instantly!
I love this app because it's a super easy way to save money and you only need your Cartwheel barcode! You can either show the barcode on your phone or you can print it out from your account and let the cashier scan it!

2. Checkout 51
Checkout 51 is a money-back app that gives you money after buying certain things at ANY store!
You can upload you're receipt and it will credit your account with the rebate! Once you reach $20 in your account, you can cash-out by requesting a check to be sent to you!

This app resets its rebates every Wednesday night, so you'll see new offers weekly!

You can sign up for Checkout 51 here!

3. Ibotta (my absolute favorite!)
Ibotta is a money-back app (just like Checkout 51) that gives you money after buying certain things at almost any store!
After you buy something listed in the app, you can scan the item in and upload a receipt. Then your account will be credited with your rebate!

Once you reach $20 in your account, you can cash-out by transferring the money to a PayPal account or a gift card.
You can sign up for Ibotta here!

4. SavingStar
SavingStar is an app that has manufacturers coupons you can use without cutting coupons out!
You can link your store rewards cards in with the app and when you buy things added to your account, you can get a rebate for them! For stores that don't have rewards cards, you can upload a receipt.

Once you reach $5 in your account, you can cash-out by transferring the money to a PayPal account.
You can sign up for SavingStar here!

5. Shopmium
Shopmium is just like Checkout 51 and Ibotta in that Shopmium gives you money back after buying certain things at any store!
After you buy something listed in the app, you can "request your rebate" and scan the barcode of the product. Then you'll need to upload the receipt of the item bought.

The thing that's different about Shopmium is that they credit your rebates straight to your PayPal or bank account! (no need to wait to accumulate $5 or $20 in rebates!)

You can sign up for Shopmium here with the referral code GFFMCGQF to get a FREE Lindt chocolate bar!

6. Walmart Savings Catcher
Walmart Savings Catcher is great if you shop at Walmart a lot!

After you shop at Walmart, you can upload your receipt's barcode to the Walmart app under the Savings Catcher header.

Then, Walmart will check around local stores to see if there is a lower price on anything you bought. If a lower price is found, Walmart will give you the difference in the form of a Walmart gift card!

You can sign up for Walmart Savings Catcher here!

Hope you have fun saving!
