Ephesians 6:12-13 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
The enemy wouldn't be attacking you if something very valuable wasn't inside of you. It would be like a thief breaking into an empty house. That would just be plain dumb and, unfortunately, Satan isn't dumb. He disguises himself as anything that will come between you and God: excessive alcohol, sex, self doubt, lies, etc, etc. But don't ever believe that the enemy is fighting you because you are weak, he is fighting you because YOU, are a threat to him.
You are untouchable from the evil forces. God has already claimed you. He will cover you with his feathers and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart (Psalm 91:4)
Heavenly Father, I pray that you would fill him with your Holy Spirit. Cover him with your protecting wings and keep him safe from harm and spiritual attacks.
